(Do not ask about the name! When I lost the internet I wanted to do a Ryou and Kris pairing but kind of lost interest. Anyways the diner name Aly got from Jess so I can't take credit for it. Anyways, some of this intro I'm using from the story I gave up on but oh well)
"Welcome to Madam Fudrucker's Roadside Diner," the sentence came second nature to the girl, and she had only been working there two months. "I'm Kris and I'll be your waitress today. Can I start you off with something to drink?"
"I think I'll just have one Ice Tea." the man said as he looked over the top of the menu.
"Right away," Kris said as she turned and walked back to the kitchen. She grabbed a glass and started pouring the pitcher of Ice Tea into the glass.
"Having fun yet?"
Kris turned around to face the strawberry blond haired girl, Sierra. "Not really...But I only have another half hour until I'm free for the night so I can survive." she smiled as she set the pitcher down and left the kitchen.
She brought the glass back to the man and set it down in front of him, "May I take your oder?" she asked.
Ten minutes later, and though she was smiling politely at everyone around her, Kris walked back to the kitchen, muttering under her breath as she went. Sierra smiled, she was leaning against the kitchen door, "Twenty-five minutes left." she said.
"Don't remind me..." Kris muttered, she walked passed the teen and into the kitchen, still muttering as she went.

L and K raced each other to the diner. They reached the doors and yelled out together. "I win! You win? Nuh uh! Uh huh! Stop copying me!" They both opened up a door each and raced inside.
"Hi Kris works here right?!" L and K shouted in unison as they reached the diner counter. L jumped up and over the counter and waved to Sierra who was standing beside him now.
"Where would-" L started.
"-Kris be?" K finnished for him after jumping over the couter with his brother.

Sierra raised her eyebrows, even though she had met the twins a few times she wasn't used to there ability to finish each others sentence. "She should be-"
"I'm right here," Kris said as she walked out of the kitchen. She sighed as she looked at the twins, "Are you two doing here?" she asked.

"We were-" L started.
"-Bored." K shrugged.
Silence
"We raced and I won!" they both shouted. "No you didn't! I won! Nuh uh!"
They bother turned to Kris smiling. "Can we have-" L started.
"-Chocolate milkshakes?" K finnished.
"Please?!" they said together.

"You can if you both stop with the finishing each other sentences." Kris said with a smile, she turned and walked back to the kitchens, making the two milkshakes and bringing them back out, setting them down in front of the pair of them.
(Now I'm waiting for Aly to reply)

(Oh, you set yourself up for this one! XD)
"What do you serve with that shake, babe?"
Kris groaned and turned around. She didn't need to see the person the voice came from. She knew who it was. But she sighed and faced the grinning green-haired duelist leaning on the counter.
"Well?" the pint-sized playa asked.
"Don't you have somewhere better to be, Weevil?" Kris asked.
"Not really." Weevil replied.
"Well find one." Kris snapped. She turned away.
"Back off kid," Sierra called, "She's taken."
"I know," Weevil shrugged, "That's my favorite game..."
Kris shuddered but managed not to gag this time. Weevil was one of the most twisted people she knew. It made her sick to be around him.
"The counter's for paying customers anyway," Sierra added.
"Oh, you're chargin now?" Weevil smirked at her, "That's called prostitution, you know..."
"Weevil!" Kris yelled, leaning over the counter into his face, "Out! Now!"
"Can't," Weevil said timidly in the face of a woman's wrath, some of the ego lost from his voice now, "I'm waiting for someone."
"Who?!" Kris asked.
That was Ali's cue. She stormed into the diner. She came up behind Weevil, grabbed his arm and turned him to face her. "I told you to wait in the car!" she snapped.
"I got bored." he said, "I'm not like Rex-" he glanced at the brown-haired boy behind her- "I don't do everything you say..." Rex looked down. Ali seethed for a minute. Why was it when they went anywhere, even grocery shopping, he couldn't behave himself?!
She sighed and looked up at her friend. "Sorry Kris..."

(Nice pairing Aly...Though I don't think Weevil and Kris would make for a good couple...She'd kill him ^^  Kris sighed and turned away from the two of them, "It's okay." she muttered, she walked passed Sierra and entered the kitchen again. 'I just had to tell them where I was working. Though they would've figured it out sooner or later I suppose...' she thought to herself as she grabbed a plate of food and brought it out to one of the customers. She then walked back behind the counter, looking at Ali, Weevil, and Rex. "If you want to stay here you have or order something..." she stated. "Otherwise my boss will get pissed." "He's out sick today..." Sierra said. "Doesn't matter." Kris replied, she didn't take her eyes off her friends as she spoke. "I'll still get in trouble. So I'll ask once," she sighed and in the sweetest voice she could possibly manage asked, "Would you like anything to drink or eat?" |

L and K looked from the strange new girl to their shakes and grabbed them. They looked back at her and smiled. "Hi!" they said in unison.
Then L turned to Kris. "We don't-"
"-Want to leave..." K finnished.

(It's not a paring! I never pair him with anyone! He's just a playa. Or at least the way I picture him. He's just SO stuck on himself...he'll go after any girl he thinks he can get! But not Ali...hmm...I'm not sure why...oh, that's right, THEY FREAKING HATE EACH OTHER'S GUTS! HA!)
"No..." Weevil muttered. Like anyone would actually eat a place with the name Fudrucker. Lose the DRU and you'd have mother-
"OW!" Weevil yelped as Ali jerked his arm.
"You're in deep enough shit now," she said, glaring into the boy, "You do what she says!"
"Fine..." Weevil glared back, "Coke..."
"Me too." Rex said, quiet as usual.
"I want fries." Ali said.

"Two cokes and fries coming up." Kris smiled and turned to look at Sierra but she was already in the kitchen getting the order, "Okay never mind...It'll be out in a few minutes."
"Ma'am?"
Kris mentally sighed, the idea of someone calling her 'ma'am' didn't seem appealing, slowly she turned and looked at a man standing by the counter, he hander the his ticket and the money.
"Keep the change."
Kris smiled, "Thank you, sir." she said as the man turned and walked out of the diner. She deposited the money into the cash register, except for the tip. She turned back to look at her friends while all the while pocketing the tip.
Just as she looked at her friends, Sierra came back out, handing Rex and Weevil their drinks and giving Ali her fries.

The twins kept staring at Ali., not even blinking. They smiled and finnished their shakes, looking at each other and then back to Aly.

Weevil chewed on the end of the straw. He'd drained the coke and was slurping the last bit out when Ali looked over at him.
"They should put a label on you," she said, "Sucks like a vacuum..."
Weevil grinned at the double meaning, but he was still mad at her for hurting his arm. So, being to pissed to be depraved, instead of making a sick remark he muttered, "Label me? You're the one with admirers..."
"Huh?" Ali looked over his shoulder at the twins.

(Aly and I have an interesting pairing idea now ^^ Sierra smiled, she was leaning against the wall, her eyes on Weevil, she watched as he slurped his drink. "Why doesn't it surprise me that Ali has at least one boy that falls in love with her everywhere she goes?" Kris muttered, she turned away from the group and stack cups up. "Though I would get tired of it if that happened to me everywhere I went." "Get tired of what?" Kris smiled, she turned and looked at the all too familiar white haired teen who was sitting next to Weevil. "Nothing, nothing at all." she said as he placed a kiss on her lips. "I don't suppose I can get a coke can I?" Ryou asked. "Sure you can," Kris said, she turned and walked back into the kitchen to get the drink and when she came back she placed the coke on the counter, her eyes now on Sierra. "Sierra?" she waved a hand in the girls face, "Earth to Sierra!" "Huh?" Sierra asked as she pushed the hand out of her face. " Huh?" Kris mimicked Sierra's confusion. "Thought you were dead there for a second. Or just lovestruck." Kris replied with a smile. She turned and looked at her other friends. Sierra mentally sighed but didn't take her eyes off Weevil. |

(Dude! That's creepy! She's like stalking him! Usually he's the stalker! XD)
"Yeah," Ali smiled, "He's my boyfriend."
Rex flinched at the word, but Ali didn't notice. He hung his head.
Weevil almost snorted the soda. She and Kaiba hadn't spoken for three weeks. She needed to move on.
