"So then stay here. It won't take us but five minutes to lock up and then we can go and walk around." Sierra said to Weevil as she put the twins money in the cash register.
Kris stood up, walking passed everyone else and into the kitchen, she'd have to make sure everything was in the right place for tomorrow. Slowly, she did a mental checklist, making sure everything was put back. But as she turned toward the door to walk back out and join her friends, Ryou stood there, he looked apologetic. "I'm sorry..." he said quietly.
Kris just glared at him, she wasn't in the mood to say anything to him, not even his apology would be good enough. How could anyone forget about a first date? Any other date to forget about was fine by a first date was something no one should forget about. She walked passed Ryou, stopping only when he grabbed her hand. "Ryou," she said as she pulled away from him.
"I'm-"
"Sorry." Kris finished for him. He sighed and watched as she left the kitchen to join her friends, he followed behind her but leaned against a wall as they entered the main room.

The twins walked up to Ali, mumbling thigs that sounded like "You!" "No you!" "Why me?" "Please?" "Cmon..."
L sighed and walked up to Ali. He mumbled something under his breath. K kicked his shin. "What?!" he shouted.
K made a motion to talk. L sighed and turned back. He mumbled something again. It was still too low to hear.
K heaved a huge sigh and walked up to Ali. "Can we...could...can...um..." he mumbled.
"Can we go-" L started.
"-See Seto sometime?" K finnished, glad his brother helped him out.

The rest of the group followed. But Ali stopped in the door and looked back at Ryou, standing in the doorway. She sighed and went back to him. He hung his head when she approached him.
"Ryou..." Ali said softly, brushing his albino hair out of his eyes. She hugged him. "It'll be OK..."

Ryou nodded, "Thanks..." he said quietly. He walked passed Ali and out of the diner.
Kris sighed as she watched him go, "This isn't my fault..." she said a loud.

Weevil and Sierra had long since tuned everyone else out. They were trying to sneak glances at each other without the other noticing all the while trying to think of something to say.

Kris sighed, she walked to the door, "Come on, Sierra." she said.
Sierra looked up at Kris, she looked at Weevil and sighed, finally following the brown haired girl to the door.

Weevil waved bye to her meekly.
Ali smiled and came up beside him. "So, is the old stud ready to settle?"
"Yeah..." Weevil sighed, his ears red again, "This race horse has made his last run..."

"You really shouldn't be all that pissed at him..." Sierra was saying, the two of them were walking along a street, and the whole time Kris seemeed to refuse to say anything. What was the freakin point of making Sierra go if Kris was going to be mute the whole freakin time? "It's not his fault..."
"You're saying it's my for him forgetting our first date?" Kris asked, she had stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and turned to glare at Sierra. "Since when did this become my fault?"
"Since you had to bring it up." Sierra said. "I mean come on, it was just one date. He remembers the rest of them, he's not that stupid."
"Stupid enough to not remember the very first date..." Kris muttered.
"Would you stop?" Sierra snapped suddenly, "Who gives a fuck about one date?"
"I do!" Kris snapped back.
The two of them glared at each other for a minute before Sierra turned away from her, "He's not a bad person. The one mistake he's ever made was forgetting one date. If you're going to get pissed about that I hate to think what you're going to be like when you decide to get married and have kids. You're going to get pissed at him for every small little mistake he makes. And if that's the case then you don't deserve someone like him. He deserves better then you and can do better then you."
With that Sierra walked back to the diner which was only a block away. She joined everyone else outside of the diner, but remained silent, though she stood next to Weevil.
Kris sighed, she was pissed at one person and one person was pissed at her. What else could go wrong?

Weevil asked Sierra, mimicking her original catcall, grinning the whole time. Sierra blushed. Ali watched. It would be good if Weevil could finally pick a girl and stick with her. Especially Sierra. She'd be good for him. In fact, they'd be good together. Ali'd never seen either one of them that happy. For once, Weevil was smiling just to smile. (Aw! Weevil's in lurve! Wit Sierra! ^_^ I just love romance! <3 Even warped ones like this...^^  |
