(I had this weird idea while taking a shower this morning and I kinda like where it was going ;D So yeah that's exactly why I'm doing this.)
"When will we get to see Ali?"
Kris looked down at the six-year-old blond haired and blue eyed girl that was tugging on her shirt. She smiled, "You'll get to see her and Adi in a few minutes. They should be here anytime."
She looked up at the clock before walking around the counter of the game shop. She watched as her eight-year-old cousin started looking through some of the cards they had.
"Seth?" her blue eyes looked up at her older brother, "Can I get these?" she asked holding up two packs of cards.
"I don't know, Leya." Seth said. "Maybe later, 'kay?"
"No...I want them now, all I need is a few cards and my deck is done." Leya said, giving her brother a sad look.
Seth sighed and nodded, turning to the counter he pulled out five dollars and started handing it to Kris, "I want to do it!" Leya said.
Seth looked at Leya for a minute before handing her the money. The girl grinned, as if excited about being able to pay for something herself. She handed the money to Kris who put it in the cash register and handed her back fifty cents. "Thank you," Leya said as she pocketed the money. She ripped open one pack of the cards and thumbed through them before looking sad. "I have these already."
Serena looked up at Leya, she crossed her arms, "Well duh did you think that every pack would give you different cards?"
Leya sighed, setting the cards on the counter, looking disappointed.
"Serena be nice to her," Seth said as he glared at his twelve-year-old sister.
"I'm just being honest." Serena muttered.
(I've had Seth, Serena, and Leya planned out since Friday...I like them, there Kris' cousins. Seth is the oldest of course. Anyways I'm done now ;D I swear!)
