(Don't ask about the title. I was going through a bunch of Yu-Gi-Oh stories on FF.net and that's how I got the title. The title does not fit the rp I promise)
'These are not my pants...'
Kris blinked as she re-read the sentence in the book. That couldn't be right, what's pants have to do with the book? Sighing, Kris shut the book, her head in her hands and her eyes closed. "So this is what you're like after a night of staying up all night..."
Kris jumped and looked up at Umi, he was leaning over the counter of the game shop, the same shop Kris was supposed to be watching while Yugi and his grandpa were on a week vacation, they left earlier that afternoon. "It's not my fault..." Kris muttered.
"Right, the idea of throwing a party and playing games while drinking soda the whole night was clearly not your fault." Umi said.
"Ali helped me with the party, so you can't blame me for everything that happened..." Kris said.
"Point taken." Umi muttered, he looked up when a group of kids walked in. They walked over to the back of the store to look through some of the cards and finally came up to the counter, putting the cards on the counter. "That's ten-"
"Fifteen." Umi corrected.
"Fifteen dollars and twenthy-two-"
"Fifty." Umi corrected again.
"Fifty cents."
One of the kids handed her the money needed and took the cards, exiting the store without saying anything.
"You really need to get some sleep." Umi said.
"Can't," Kris muttered.
"Why not?" Umi asked.
"Too tired," Kris replied.

"Kris? Wakey wakey!" Ali poked her sleeping friend. How long she'd been there, she wasn't sure.
"Oh, Kristina!" Ali grinned, "I'm thinking of a song! It's a woooooonderful song, and I'm sure you're familiar with it!"
Ali made her fingers dance along the counter. "Da da dadada, da da dadada, da da dadada DA!"
Ali jumped up on the counter and started shouting, "START SPREADIN THE NEWS! I'M LEAVIN TODAY! I WANNA BE A PART OF IIIIIIIIIIIT! NEW - YORK!"
(lmao ;D Too much Starbucks! COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE!!)

(I don't know that song...The Da da dadada, da da dada, da da, dadada DA part reminded me of the music from the Nightmare Before Christmas)
Kris looked up at Ali, she looked at the people who were staring through the window and then at Umi who just shrugged, "Would you stop? You're scaring all of the customers away."
"You're scarying me." Umi said, "With your ten dollars and twenty-two cents thing just a few minutes ago."
"I'm tried..." Kris said, she looked at Ali again.

Ali stopped and looked over her shoulder at the people. She loved the people!
"They're not customers," she said, reaching behind the counter, "They're my audience!" She used a trash can for a top hat and used the broom as a cane. She began to tap dance.
People laughed and pointed, but continued on. Ali took the trash can off and looked at it disappointed, "Too bad I don't have a real top hat..." she muttered, "Then I'd be Fred Astaire!"
"Too bad you don't have a monical..." Umi muttered, "Then you'd be Mr. Peanut. Now get off the counter!"
(Sorry. Computer got evil and I had to reboot...)

(It's okay. I went down and saw Travis and Tiffany real quick. They're going to a visitation now.)
Kris smiled and yanked Ali off the counter, "Stay off the counter." she said. "That's not for standing on." she looked up when she saw people enter the store. They smiled, and grabbed a few cards, coming up to the counter.
"Five fifty two." Umi said before Kris could say anything.
The kids paid and looked at Ali, "You're a good entertainer." with that said, they left the shop.
"Show off..." Kris muttered as she put the money in the cash register.
(I had an idea)

"Next you're going to turn into a stripper..." Kris muttered.
Umi shudder from the thought, "We don't need images like that."
"To late," Kris grinned as she turned and started organizing cards and making sure they went on the right shelves. "You think Yugi would kill us if we threw a party here tonight?" Kris asked.
"You stayed up until six this morning and you're half asleep," Umi said as he followed Kris around the store, placing the cards Kris had set on the shelves so that all of the cards were in the right place. He mentally sighed, 'What would she do without me?' he thought to himself as he continued following her, "And you're already thinking of throwing another party?"
"Well...Yeah." Kris said.

"Can't." Ali said, "Youth meeting tonight. Me and Seto have to be leaders. Unless...we could have it here!" Ali grinned. "Yeah! I could get the whole choir and youth group and even some of the leaders to come!"

"A youth meeting group here?" Kris asked, her eyebrows raised. "I don't think so."
Umi smiled, out of the three of them, it seemed he was the most responsible which scared him a little, but still if he didn't say anything when Yugi got back, the game shop would be burned down.
"Somehow I don't think your whole youth group would like having a party..." Kris said.
