(We haven't done anything on here in a long time. So I'm going to try something...I was reading the very first RP we started on here [on the boat] then I was reading another one on here and somehow got this idea. Anyways, this takes place a few hours after Kris finds out You isn't really Ryou...Anyone remember that RP? The second one we did in Duelist Kingdom?)
'So take me with you.' she could remember Ali's words exactly. It was the night they were going to Duelist Kingdom and the two girls were talking about Kris moving away right after Duelist Kingdom. They were talking about the two of them running away together.
Now as she thought more about it, Kris wished she would've said yes. The two of them could've left together, gone far away, away from everyone they knew. It would've been so much easier to just run away and avoid everything else. 'Running away isn't the answer...' there was always that little voice in the back of her head that told her she should do the right thing. Most of the time she just pushed that little voice off to the side, and then later on she would think about how that little voice was right. Typical.
"I wouldn't mind leaving everything else behind..." Kris muttered.
She was sitting on top of one of the hills on Duelist Kingdom. She was a little ways away from her friends (all in which were sitting around the campfire, most likely telling stories). "I could get off the island tonight...By the time they realized I was gone I would be halfway home. Then all I would have to do is find a plane to take me to America..." It was easier said then done. But it wasn't impossible.
"All I have to do is drop out of the tournament now..." but she was so close to the castle. She already had seven of the ten star chips she needed to enter the castle. Three more and then she could get inside. That meant the tournament was almost over.
But she couldn't stay. Not with You still on the island. Just knowing he was close by made her want to leave even more. She was far too pissed at him to really want to see him, or know he was anywhere near her. If she ever got to America she could get a restraining order on him. Yeah. She would leave her friends a note and tell them she was leaving. And tell them to tell You to not look for her. The only other person who knew You wasn't really himself was Ali. Everyone else seemed to think he was himself, which meant everyone else would be willing to talk to him (hell they were questioning her why she wasn't talking to him.).
As the last boat of the day pulled up to the docks to take the people who were leaving the tournament back to Domino, Kris slowly stood up. She turned and looked down the hill at her friends. She let out a deep sigh and walked down the hill in the opposite direction, toward the boat.
Forget leaving them a note. She would just tell one of the people down there to give the message to the others. Surely they would do that for her.
She paused when she reached the docks. Watching as the other people made it into the boat, she began to think if this was really anyway to solve any problem. "If I go there's no turning back...." she said a loud (people around her turned and looked at her like she was crazy).
Slowly, Kris walked toward the boat.
(She's not leaving. I can tell you that now. *yawns* And now that it's two in the morning, I'm going to bed. Happy New Years Eve!)
