Working on the profile bit by bit (don't want to end up doing the sections that require the basic info such as history and personality, only to find out those parts are unacceptable to the RP as they stand), let me know what you think so far, and I'll change what needs to be changed so that the character can be deemed acceptable Any sections not completed are sections that i read as requiring the parts that HAVE been completed, thus, i want to make sure what I've got so far is alright before working on them ;D

Character Name: Seth, The Gatekeeper
Character Age: Unknown, inhabits an 14 year old body.
Character Gender: Unknown, inhabits a male body.
Character Deck: Control style deck using “Dark Armour” cards (see custom cards).
Character Appearance:
Out of Shadow Games: Outside of a Shadow Game, Seth appears like a normal human, roughly 5 foot tall, with short blond hair and blue/green eyes, and wearing black jeans with a black polo-neck short sleeved shirt. His facial expression, as befitting a spirit who has never been human, is lacking of emotional expression, save for a look of ruthless determination to complete his task, whatever the cost.
In a Shadow Game: Within a Shadow Game however, more of Seth's true appearance leaks through into the visible spectrum. A black robe of what appears to be made of shadows wraps around his body, hiding all but the eyes, which begin to glow a murderous red within the deep blackness beneath the hood. Behind the robed body, a large ornate door of dark metal materializes, the door open a crack and the sound of constant whispering of unintelligible words coming from the other side. In-front of the door, but behind the body, what can only be described as the Grim Reaper, but without a scythe and with a key on a gold chain around its neck, appears, the motions of the human body being a direct copy of the creature's actions, as though it is controlling the actions of the body, which in fact it is, for that creature is Seth's true spirit form.
Character History:
Seth, otherwise known by his title as "The Gate Keeper" is an ancient spirit from the Shadow Realm who has been tasked with defending their realm from the constant appearence of spirits from our world due to so called "Shadow Games". Due to the increasing number of spirits over the last few years because of the Duelist Kingdom and Battle City incidents, the previous standing whereby the spirits could handle the occasional human soul appearing without much concern has been revaluated; The change in tactics resulting in the most ruthless and powerful duelist of the four Gate Keepers being sent to the mortal realm to stop the Shadow Games by any means necessary.
When Seth first appeared in our world, he did not have a physical body, and thus could not achieve his mission; however, by pure luck there was a relatively weak willed young individual about to duel in a nearby alley, and Seth used this duel as a method to take over the loser, a young man by the name of Andrew. This possession was a simple method from Seth's point of view, but took many months to build to such a level that he had total control of the host body all of the time, beginning with control just in duels, then duels and stressful situations, then finally all of the time. (see roleplay sample for additional details regarding the possession)
After this possession, Seth has been travelling the world, searching for Shadow Duelists and Millenium item holders, to stop the tide of souls being forced into the Shadow Realm.

Character Personality: Seth, otherwise known as ‘The Gatekeeper’, is an evil spirit from the shadow Realm who is inhabiting the body of a 14 year old human boy, and as such his reactions to situations are not in any way human, seeming odd to those around him, and his personality can only be described as being as dark as the blackest night. Being an ancient, evil spirit, Seth does not tend to talk much, and hardly ever shows any form of emotions save for annoyance for those who abuse the powers of the shadow realm.
There are occasions however, when the spirit is weakened through injury or occasionally when losing badly in a duel, that Andrew, the person who’s body is possessed by the ancient spirit, can speak or act for brief moments, showing the monstrous act Seth undertook by sealing away such a kind, gentle soul, consigning it to the darkness of the shadows. These two spirits are so drastically opposed in personality, that if a person doesn’t believe in the Shadow Games, they would think that Seth and Andrew is a person suffering from split personality…a mistake they would live to regret if they weren’t careful (apologies for the personality section being terrible, I usually don’t do them in profiles ^^; )
Character Likes: Nothing (is cold and ruthless.)
Character Dislikes: Millennium Items, Shadow Duelists
Character Fears: Failure
Nervous Habits: Challenges to a Shadow Game, uses his Dark Armour cards more aggressively than ever.

Roleplay Sample: (( This roleplay example will also explain how Seth acquired his host body in greater detail, in addition to showing the style of duelist he is ))
It was a busy day in Domino City, with the sun shining, the streets full of people going about their business, purchasing food for their families, or going to and from their workplaces. For most, this was a normal day, with nothing special to note, however, this was not the case for a smaller group of individuals, who had arranged a sort of informal "mini-battle city" tournement between them.
Andrew, a young duelist roughly 5 foot tall, with short blond hair and lively, happy blue/green eyes that showed a degree of innocense that most people in a busy town lose quite quickly, was dueling Kristen, his rival in this unnofficial tournement. Andrew was wearing black jeans with a black polo-neck short sleeved shirt today, what he called his 'serious' clothes, to show he was determined to win today, and why not, it was the semi-finals of their small, fifty person tournement, and he was going for the win. Kristen however, was also just as determined, and she was just getting her Exodia deck from her back right pocket of her jeans, preparing to duel.
"Don't worry Andrew, i'll go easy on you, i know you've had a stressful week, and i don't want to make you run home crying to mommy" Kristen said with a playful smile, joking with Andrew as she got her deck out, and placed it into the duel-disk she had got for her birthday.
"Don't you dare Kristen, i wanna have fun" Andrew replied, getting his own Insect Deck out...but as he did, the atmosphere in the alley seemed to get really cold all of a sudden, causing him to shiver, and goosebumps to cover his arms...something was wrong, and he could feel it.
'..In order to complete my goals in this realm..it seems i need a physical body...pathetic bags of meat and water, its a wonder they even function at all' The spirit from the Shadow Realm thought to itself as it drifted silently and invisibly through the streets of Domino, looking for a host for its intangible form so that it might complete its task. Seth, for that is the spirit's name, was one of four Gate Keepers, spirits who had the task of securing the Shadow Realm, and protecting it from invasion from the countless human souls being sent there by shadow games and millenium items.
Seth continued to search, and had almost given up on finding a reasonable host, when it found something that had promise; it had discovered a duel about to start in an alley, and the small humans were relatively open-minded and weak-willed compared to the larger, older ones, so the choice of two potential hosts intrigued the spirit. As Seth moved closer, reaching into the open minds of first the female human, then the male to feel for weaknesses and entry possibilites, the male seemed to sense Seth's presence somehow, its shiver and reaction to Seth's probing proving this host was the most open, the most susceptable to entry.
'perfect..a possible host..' Seth thought to itself, reaching to the human's subconscious mind and leaving seeds of doubt, seeds Seth would nurture and weave to its purpose.
Andrew shivered once more, then began to duel Kristen, Seth watching from behind him the whole time that the two duelists fought, each gaining an advantage, only to lose it a few turns later, only to end the duel once Kristen revealed her hand, all pieces of Exodia in it.
"...you win..." Andrew admitted, the doubt Seth had sown taking effect on his thoughts, '..i knew i'd lose..i didn't stand a chance against Exodia..' Andrew thought to himself.
'..no, you didn't..not alone..but i could help?' Seth whispered into the mind of Andrew, Andrew's eyes widening ever so slightly in shock, but Kristen didn't notice because of her dancing about in victory...as always.
'...am i going crazy?' Andrew thought, trying to figure out what the voice was, '...no, you're not...i'm offering power beyond imagining, will you accept this power?' Seth replied, Andrew so depressed because of the combined effect of the doubt and the loss, that he accepted, thinking that if he was imagining this voice, he might as well imagine being a winner, not a loser.
'...very well...challenge her to a rematch..and let me take over' Seth whispered, Andrew closing his eyes then opening them again, looking over to Kristen,
"...double or nothing, i win i get two points for the tournement, you win you get two?" he asked knowing that Kristen couldn't resist a rematch, she loved dueling, and Andrew was always a good sport.
"fine, let's have a rematch, but this time, no getting down in the dumps, i want to see a REAL duel, i want you to duel your best" Kristen replied, Andrew nodding in agreement, '...i want to win' he thought to himself, Seth taking that open door of a chance to enter Andrew's body, and take him over for the duration of the duel, needing to take time with a full possession so that it would be impossible for Andrew to resist.
"Let's Duel!" Seth replied through Andrew's body, activating his duel disk, his deck glowing a dull white light for a moment with a light neither duelists could see.
-=Several minutes later=-
"You wanted my best, so here it is" Seth said with a dark smile, raising his right hand above his head, then pointing with his index finger at Kristen, "Dark Armour Sword, Attack her directly with Corrupted Steel Slice!"
The black metal blade floating before Seth began to glow with a dark light, the eye upon its hilt open wide, its red, unblinking organic eye locked on Kristen's lifepoint counter as it began to spin, leaving an after-image. After revolving several times like the blade of a buzzsaw, a disk of violet light was shot towards Kristen, her lifepoint counter dropping like a stone from 2000 to 0.
'...that was a taste of what i can give Andrew, and i know you enjoyed the power i can supply...we're going to be good friends' Seth spoke into Andrew's mind, wanting to trick the human into believing its intentions were friendly and noble until it was strong enough.-
