After all that Yugi Moto and his friends have gone through -with Duelist Kingdom, Noa’s virtual World, Battle City, etc.- don’t you believe they’ve gone through enough? Well according to Kaiba, they haven’t. He’s decided, once again, to throw a brand new championship to prove that no matter how many times Yugi has beaten him; he is still the best dueller in the world. He has invited EVERY single duellist in Domino city to take part in this competition. The competition is very similar to that of Battle City, which happened a good while back. But this time, there is quite a catch added to the rules.
Once the top 10 duellists are determined, they will be taken to one of Kaiba’s aircrafts, just like Battle City. Once there, they will duel each other until there is one winner, but until that winner is chosen, all those within the top 10 who lost their duels are ‘transported’ in a the Shadow Realm. In reality, this Shadow Realm is nothing more than a virtual world, inspired by Noa’s. Only those who have experienced the Shadow Realm before will know that it is nothing more than a Virtual World. Little does Kaiba know that one of his top 10 is making his Virtual World turn into the actual Shadow Realm.
Many questions are now floating around, but there is ONE that matters. Will Yugi and the others be able to stop new evil before ‘it’ goes too far?
