Cheers echoed throughout the room as the last of her lifepoints dropped. A serge of electricity ran through her body, causing her to scream out in pain. When it stopped, the cheers had already faded. Her opponent was smirking, his arms folded across his chest, "Sad...A Obelisk Blue duelist like you couldn't defeat me. And you're from Duel Academy at that."
Kylie glared daggers at him as two officials came over to each person and started taking the shock colors off of them. She turned and walked through the cage door, glaring at the audience as she made her way up the stairs and out of the building.
What was she thinking? She just had to be stupid enough to leave the academy, just to short for someone she knew she would never find. But the least she could do was try. Especially after he had turned up missing. No it wasn't Zane, he wasn't really missing so it couldn't be him. The only other person she had to search for was her own cousin, more of a brother to her. He took off from Duel Academy weeks ago and she hadn't heard anything since then.
Her parents were going to kill her when they found out what she was up to, but she didn't really care.
When she left the building, she walked around the block and walked into an alley, pulling out her PDA and finding Atticus, typing up a message 'Won't be back for a while. Still can't find him. I'll call you.' and after sending the message, she pocketed the PDA and sighed. She had to be stupid enough to end up in an alley way, on a dark night...But she had nowhere else to go. And she wasn't about to return to that Underground Duel place. She had hoped that would be the place to find her cousin, apparently not. So what else was she supposed to do?
