((I totally and completely forgot what the entrance looks like, so bare with me.))
It was a calm and sunny day at the top of the world. Spring - yet not spring. It was one of those days where you could defiantly tell off the weathermen about the actual season of it being. The climate was hot and humid, and the fact that everyone was outside didn't help the matter. All of the bodies in one place just made the heat hotter, and the humid wetter. This was a day that no one could just stay inside for the life of them. No one, except those of the underground.
A dark silhouette stood in the path of oncoming visitors and the underground dueling 'club'. He was clad in dark colors, seemingly blues and blacks. A sneer was upon his face as he watched the people walk by him, whispering as they passed. Idiots - he thought of them. How dare they judge him while passing. He was stronger than he had ever been, and - yet - still he was whispered about in rumors flowing throughout the crowd. He sighed. This was going to be a long day.
Zane looked up at the sky, spotting a few random clouds. All of them were of the usual color of clouds with no rain left in them: white. Zane made a note in his mind that it wasn't going to rain that day, and so he should just try and ignore the idiots walking about at this time of day.
Oh... was it noon?

It had been the longest summer vacation Kylie had ever had since entering Duelist Academy. It wasn't really suppose to be a very long summer vacation for her. She was suppose to have entered her third year of Duel Academy only three weeks earlier, and yet here she was wandering the crowded streets of Domino City. Why had she been wandering these streets for three weeks, leaving not a single note to any of her friends or family to tell them where she was going? The answer was simple. She didn't want them to know. After the events of last year with the whole Society of Light scare, and having already hurt her friends enough, Kylie didn't think any of them deserved to know.
After everything that had happened the previous year, Kylie wasn't at all concerned about her status with any of her friends now. What worried her was how far she had dropped. Had any of the teachers decided to change ranks all of a sudden, she would have went from Obelisk Blue to Slifer Red in the span of only one day. She had lost it all because of Aster and his suppose to be business partner Sar-something-or-other. It was because of the two of them that made Kylie despise them almost as much as she had despised Duel Monsters at the moment.
The hot sun seemed almost unbearable now, and the crowded streets were enough to anger Kylie even further. She didn't feel much like being around anyone at the present moment, which was another reason she had chosen not to go back to Duel Academy that year.
Stepping out of the bright sunlight, Kylie entered what appeared to be a somewhat dark alley, almost the ideal place for someone to do something, if there were ever a person around. But, she wasn't really paying attention to what was around her, she hadn't bothered to notice someone else was there. She mentally sighed, leaning against a nearby wall, her now dull blue eyes closing, almost willingly entering another world of darkness.

The sun was high in the heavens by now, and everyone was now bringing picnic baskets to the park in front of them. They all had the same things in them: sandwiches, chips, and a few apples for the families to enjoy. Zane had gotten the impression that no one in their right mind would sacrifice their day to go off on an adventure in a dark alleyway. And so, the famous duelist was just about to walk away and back into the underground when a form appeared just in front of him in the alleyway.
He studied her for a second and then grimaced. "What are you doing here?" he asked, almost about to go up to the girl and take her arm. She wasn't supposed to be here, and Zane wasn't going to let this pass by him like a small fly. He wanted to know what was going on, for it was his job.
The girl was a bit on the short side compared to him, and was slightly tanned on her arms. She looked a bit like a duelist would, and yet not a duelist that dueled all the time like he had. She had a look to her that said "Back off before I run." She didn't look like one that would be in for confrontation, and Zane was happy. He really didn't feel like hauling this girl into the underground to show to Shroud.

She hadn't expected to hear another voice within the same alleyway as her, and it was only for a moment that Kylie looked up to find an almost too familiar face staring at her, as if studying her for some reason. She raised her eyebrows at him, almost questioning him. She knew him. Zane Truesdale. Or as people liked to call him now Hell Kaiser. He was Syrus's older brother, and one hell of a duelist. Or at least he was suppose to be. The last she had heard about him was he had hit rock bottom...He had gone to someone for help, and then by the end Zane had turned into Hell Kaiser. It was this new person that made Kylie remember Syrus. The cute little now Ra Yellow, though most likely Obelisk Blue in his third year at Duel Academy. She remembered enough to know that Syrus had been worried about Zane, and had challanged him to a duel- a duel in which Kylie and the others had watched, unable to help-
This wasn't the Zane Kylie knew back from Duel Academy. He had changed in the span of one year. "Walking around," Kylie answered to his question. She didn't feel the need to explain herself any further to him, as she couldn't really explain it even if she had wanted to. "I should be asking you the same thing, Zane." she said, keeping her voice calm. "You know...The others are worried about you..." she explained, unsure of where she was going with any of this. "The last thing they heard was you lost to Aster Phoenix in the Pro Leagues and had hit rock bottom..." she explained. "Hardly anyone really knows what happened to you."
She paused for a moment and finally turned away from him, "But I guess whatever happened to you, well you can't complain now that everyone knows about you now..." with this she started walking out of the alley.
(Have her go into the Underground)

Zane blinked almost once. He had lost most of what he had known before from changing over to Hell Kaizer. He didn't know what she was talking about. At least, most of it. Zane... it caught a thought in his mind. A thought he didn't want to remember, and yet he couldn't even if he tried. It was amemory, he knew, but was ti fake or not. And who was this girl that brought back such mysteries in his head?
Zane cursed under his breath and walked up to the girl. He took her arm in his hand and pulled his back into the alleyway. He didn't stop until they were at the double-doors that lead to the undergrond. He would find out who this girl was if he had to make her duel there. She was a mystery, and he wanted to know why she seemed to familiar. "Who are you?" he asked and then, thinking better of himself, caught it and then added, "And don't lie to me."
((XP Shortness. Sorry, I have a writers block...))

(*huggles* It's okay)
Had he completely lost his mind? How could he not have known who she was? They had spent a year at Duel Academy together, and then there was the time he sowed up to duel Syrus. How could he not remember her? Or was it just some kind of trick he was pulling? Because of the whole Society of Light thing, and everything that had happened last year, so maybe she had lost her nerve when it came to duels now, but surely he wouldn't know about that. Not unless he found out from the tournament last year...But she couldn't really see him staying long enough for that tournament to know anything about her now. So then what was he getting at? Surely he remembered. He had to remember.
"Kylie," Kylie said slowly, yanking her arm free from him. "Jaden and Syrus's friend..." she gave him a confusing look, as if to question if he was serious or not. He had to remember. "We were in the same dorm...Then you left and came back and dueled Syrus..." she trailed off, still staring at him as if he was nuts, or if he had just lost his mind. "You have to remember....You were the top duelist back at Duel Academy..."
