(Excuse the lack of subject...I'm listening to My Immortal right now and that was the only thing I could think of to cal this ^^;. Anyways, kinda had this little idea playing in my head this weekend and wanted to do something with it. And since I can't think of any way to make it a story what better way to throw it into something then with an rp? ;D Okay I'll stop ranting now.)
"I'm sorry...."
Her voice was barely above a whisper as she looked up at the white haired teen, tears filled her blue eyes. Finally, she turned away from him. "I'm sorry, Ryou." she said again as she opened the door of the house and stepped outside.
As the door shut behind her, Ryou sighed, he turned away from the door. He could still remember exactly what she said to him that evening. And he could still remember what he said to her. So they hadn't survived through high school without breaking up. And everyone else seemed to think they were the perfect couple.
'If we were so perfect we wouldn't be in this mess...' he thought to himself.
Everyone else seemed to think nothing would go wrong with the two of them. They all seemed to think that they wouldn't argue about something, and that they wouldn't break up. Well, they were about to get a shocking surprise when they found out on Monday. And most likely, Ryou would be the one who would have to tell them. He didn't like to have to explain it to them, or anyone else for that matter. It was bad enough having to deal with it himself, but having to explain what happened? That seemed almost impossible for him. 'I'll have to tell them...Unless they figure it out by themselves when we don't show up to school together.'. Yeah...They would all know by the end of Monday, without him having to tell them. So he could just let them figure it out on their own. It seemed to be the only reasonable thing to do. Or at least, it seemed to be the only thing he could do.
--------
Snow flakes danced down to the ground, melting away the second they touched the soft ground.
Kris looked up at the snow flakes, holding out her hand and catching a few, watching as they melted away upon impact. She sighed, putting her hands back in her pocket, though still looking up at the sky, watching the snow flakes dance all the way down to the ground.
She remembered the first winter when she moved to Domino City. She remember the huge snow day that lasted three days, plus the weekend which was a total of five days. To spend their vacation, Kris and Ryou spent hours outside. Just acting like little kids, enjoying the first vacation in months. They did everything you were supposed to do on a snow day. Snowball fights, built snowmen, made snow angels, and for the hell of it, and the fact they needed the money, the ended up shoveling peoples driveways for a little extra cash.
But by the end of the day, the two of them were lying in the snow, and had somehow managed to roll down the hill. At the bottom of the hill, the two of them lay for a while, Kris on top of Ryou. And just their luck, they just had to see their friends. They picked a perfect time to walk up to the couple. It made for an interesting explanation to say the least. And what made it worse was the fact that her step-dad happened to walk out of the house at the time. That could've been one of the reasons he despised Ryou (who could despise him...?).
The memory only brought more thoughts to mind, but she couldn't think about it now. It was too late to go back and say she was sorry, which meant she had to stop thinking about it all. Otherwise she would feel guilty and go back to him.
So, what was there left to do? Of course, she did have to return home. It was getting late. So, she walked out of the neighborhood and started to walk home. But with her luck, she was bound to run into at least one of her friends. It never failed, the one time she didn't want her friends around, they show up anyways. It was a matter of figuring out which friend she would run into this time.
(Off subject...Am I the only one that remembers Cartoons? Remember when we all listened to it on the way back from the Ren fest (to lazy to type that all out) and even when it wasn't playing, we were all singing it? Okay...I know that was off subject but oh well ;D)
