The sun was almost gone now. The kids had gotten so wrapped up in their activities that they didn't even notice it was setting. Now it seemed like someone had turned the ceiling light of the world off with the flick of a switch. After Joey and Yugi's final duel, they all figured since they were at the docks anyway, why not swim? Except the trio of trouble themselves had taken it one step further, of course. Since they were at the docks anyway, why not fish? "You guys aren't gonna catch anything, it's too late now," Tea called from the water. She was ignored of course. "Let em try," Joey muttered, "At least they're leavin us alone..." "Seto, nothin's biting..." Andy whined, sprawled on the dock. He hadn't even taken a turn yet and he was bored. "They will," Kaiba said, leaning back on his elbows, "It has to get darker." "Shut up!" Mac snapped. He'd been sitting quietly with the fishing pole the whole time, but their constant arguing was getting to him, "You're gonna scare what few fish there are away! Shut up." "Jeez, OK..." Seto muttered. "It's the crack," Andy grinned. "You're the only addict here, Andy..." Mac said. "You've never done crack?" Andy asked him. "No." Mac answered. "Never done coke?" "No." "Meth?" "No!" "And you're sure you never done crack?" "Yes!" "Never?" "NO!" "See how pissed you are?" "YES!" "It's the crack!!" Seto burst out laughing, and Andy slapped him a high five. Mac growled angrily. He'd have to be on crack to spend time with these two... "They won't catch anything..." Yugi said. The others shook their heads sadly.

Kris grinned, she had been swimming near the three troublemakers, so she was listening to them while staring at the sunset. She turned and looked back at the trio, finally swimming over to them and climbing onto the docks, "Nothing yet?" she asked, pushing back some of her hair. She turned her attention back to the water, watching everyone else swim, she let out a soft sigh and her attention drifted back to the sunset. When the sun was completely down, she laid down on the docks, staring up at the moon directly over head.

While Andy and Mac argued, certainly sending the fish running by now, Seto broke away from them and sat near Kris. Bits of the conversation like 'there is no crack Andy!' and 'oh my god, you sold it all?!' drifted over to them. But Kaiba ignored his feuding friends and asked Kris quietly, "Have you seen Ali lately?"

Kris sat back up and shook her head sadly, "I wish." she said. "I've been trying to get a hold of her all day but she hasn't answered her phone." she was silent for a little bit, listening to the two boys arguing about crack, with their luck some cop would come by after hearing the argument and assume they were both on crack. She looked down at the water, "You don't think anything....bad happened to her, do you?" she asked.

"No..." Seto said, disappointed, "She's just mad...at me...I wanted to know if she was still talking to you...she won't even look at me..."

"What'd you do to her this time?" Kris asked as he looked up at Kaiba, her eyebrows raised. Leave it to Ali and Kaiba to get into some kind of argument.

"I dunno..." Seto muttered, "She won't tell me...like I said, we're not talking..." "You forgot her birthday, ya jerk!!" The cry from the water drew their attention to the rest of the group. They didn't look happy. They were all glaring at Kaiba. He glared back, at Joey, who'd made the comment. "How do you know?!" he snapped. "She won't talk to you, but she sure as hell complained to us for a while!" Tristan said. "I know when her birthday is!" Seto called back, "I didn't forget." "When is it?" Joey asked. "January." "January what?" "28th." "And what's today?" "The fourth." "Of what?" Seto paused for a second. He was about to blurt the answer when he realized what it was. "...shit..." he muttered. It was the fourth of February.

"So that's why she's mad...." Kris said, "I thought you remembered...." she stopped and turned to look back at everyone else, "How the hell do all of you know this? She hasn't said anything to me...And I can't forget her birthday....." she trailed, still trying to think of the reason her friend wouldn't talk to her. 'What did I do...? she thought to herself. She only shrugged, she could worry about that later. "I have an idea....Make up for the fact that you forgot her birthday." she said.

"How?" Seto looked at her. "He can't," Joey called, "She's too pissed." "Shut up!" Kaiba yelled down to him. "Hey, don' blame me. I didn't forget..." Joey said. "So?" Seto asked, "She's gonna have another birthday, genius!" "You won't be there." Joey grinned. "How many second chances do you think yer gonna get Kaiba?" Seto was silent at this. He'd already blown his second chance. And his third, and fourth...a long time ago... "You betta' shape up pretty soon, or she'll start forgettin about you," Joey said. Seto laid back on the dock. "Ya can't expect to keep a relationship when you can only thinka' you insteada' her," Joey added. Kaiba raised one hand above his head and flipped Joey off. "F*** off, Wheeler..." he muttered. The group in the water gasped. Joey glared. Now Andy and Mac were listening. They turned to stare at Kaiba. "Seto..." Mac said, "Watch it..." "Shut up, Mac, you're not my mother..." Kaiba snapped. Mac flinched. "But..." Seto stood and started to walk away. "Kaiba..." Kris said quietly. He ignored her. "Come on Andy," Kaiba called over his shoulder, "I need you to help with something..." Andy stood and followed Kaiba down the dock. Mac looked hurt. "What about me?" "Stay here and f*** around with the fish for a while..." Seto muttered, "I don't give a damn..." Mac just stared after the two as they left.

Kris looked from the group in the water to Kaiba who was starting to walk off. What was a girl to do? For the first time she felt bad for him...But at the same time she knew it was his fault Ali was pissed. But still, the least Joey could've done was shut up, they all knew Kaiba didn't mean to forget...Right? Finally, Kris stood up and started follow Kaiba and Andy, she walked behind the two of them, but didn't say anything.
(Okay next it's Kay then it's Aly then me. Get it? Got it? Good.)

Adi ran around the bend and down the hill. She smiled as she turned the last corner and-...ran into Kaiba. "Aw...shit..." Adi mumbled, holding her nose. She looked up. "Seto!" she shouted, smiling. She opened her mouth to relay something and closed it. "Uhhh...what was it again..." she mumbled.

"Piss off, Adi D..." Seto muttered, walking passed her, "I'm not in the mood..." Andy snickered at the nickname. (pronounced ADD cuz she has such a short attention span! XD) Unlike Mac, Andy liked to see Kaiba pissed. It was cool. He was really tough when he wanted to be.

Kris gave Adi an apologetic look, "He forgot Ali's birthday...." she muttered as she followed the two boys.

(lmfao Oh she's dead! XP *is dead*)
"Yeah..." Seto mumbled, rubbing his cheek, "I guess I deserved that...shut it Andy!" Andy was doubled over on the ground laughing so hard his face was red. Seto sighed and turned to Adi. His eyes weren't mad anymore. Just hurting. "Hey, does that whole instant message thing work for me too?" he asked. "That depends..." Adi crossed her arms, "What do we say when we call people names?" Seto sighed again. Now his eyes were annoyed, but quickly switched to apologetic. "I'm sorry..." he mumbled. He was desperate enough. He needed to talk to Ali. "That's better." Adi said softly. She smiled at him. "What's the message?" "Just tell her I'm sorry, OK?" Seto said, "She never gave me the chance..." "Okie dokie!" Adi grinned and took off running again. "And don't forget!" Andy called after her, still laughing.
