(Well I was going to ask her but she just joined  ) "It's upstairs and down the hall." Kris said. "I'll show you." she grabbed both Zephr and Ryou's hand and led them upstairs and down a hallway and into another classroom. She led the two of them to the back of the room before finally letting go of them. |

"Be nice," Ali said, closing her locker, "It's his first day. You remember your first day? I remember mine. It sucked. It's scary. It must be ten times scarier for him because he's in a whole new country, let alone district. You and I are on the Student Counsel, school newspaper staff, yearbook committee, all that stuff. We are expected to- Seto! You jerkoff, pay the hell attention!"
Seto had put the iPod back on and was about two decibels from shattering the atmosphere with Simple Plan.

Zephr sighed and opened his notebook to a page where he had started to doodle last period. He picked up his pencil and started to write something in Egyptian by the drawing.

"I feel bad for him." Kris told Ryou. "He's new and so far he hasn't made to many friends."
"Give him time." Ryou said. "I'm sure when he meets Ali she'll be willing to talk to him." Kris nodded but didn't seem to convinced.

By the time class was over Zephr had already written 5 1/2 pages worth of Egiptian writing. His hand hurt, but he still kept on writing. Apparently, he didn't know class was over.

"Ya know how he is, Al..." Joey said, then stopped and nudged Ali. "Hey, check it." He said, "Dere's yer foreign exchange kid."
Ali looked up. Kris and Ryou were standing outside their history class with Zephr.
"Yes!" Ali bounced on her toes, "Good. Seto won't make an effort, I will." And she walked toward them.

Kris turned as she saw Ali approch. "Hey Ali." she said smiling. She turned and looked at Zephr almost forgetting to introduce her to Ali. "Zephr, this is my friend Ali. Ali this is Zephr." she said.
