We have a tendency to get on a random times, it just depends on what we're doing and what we want to do. Otherwise, there may be bouts of time in which we don't get on for a few days (or weeks) for certain reasons. It usually just depends.

The skins are Kay's doing. She's the one who makes all of the skins, and as far as I know she's made a great deal of skins already to choose from. So unless she's willing to make a new one, with any character of her choosing, then you're more than welcome to pick from the existing skins we have.

Well the skin that is default is rather dull to be honest. One that has spice will help attract people.
I'm doing a new skin anyway. If you choose to use it thats your choice.
I'm not saying her skin is bad cause it isn't. It's just dull as hell.

Okay, seriously the way you said that might as well have implied you hated the skin. Next time, choose your words wisely, as to not anger or upset anyone.
Now to address the prolem of the skin, there are two easy solutions to that. The first being pick a different skin to use from the list that we have. And if you completely hate those skins as well, you could easily just not looke at them >.<
I'm sorry that you seem to have such a problem with the skins, but as it is we haven't gotten any other complaints about the skins that were created. And another point that I have to bring up about such an issue is that with everything else going on recently, Kay as well as the rest of us have been a bit busy. We don't tend to spend every minute of every day on the site fixing things just because other people seem to think it looks bad. We fix things when we get the chance.
The skins, that's Kay's area. It's always been her area and will be hers until she gives up on it, which I seriously doubt will happen. As far as creating a new skin, I wouldn't waste your time. Kay likes to make her own skins, so it's hard to bring someone in and let them make one of the skins. We're happy with her skins as of right now, and if time allows for it, perhaps in the near future she can make a new skin.
Next time though, if you have a problem with the site don't just randomly pop into a thread and complain about it. You can easily start a new thread or PM an admin.

First off as a fellow Graphics Designer it's part of the contract I signed that I give crit where needed. I'm still making a skin and I will send it to her. If she uses it so be it. If not I'll edit it into a free skin and post it on proboards for others to use if they see fit. Second you might want to change the default skin every now and then so people won't think thats the only skin that is on this forum. The skin is really the first thing people see when they goto the url for a forum. If it is the same skin for awhile it gets dull and becomes unattractive. |

I understand you may be a Graphic Designer, but I don't recall ever seeing a place in which would give you the right to join the site automatically and claim that a skin was just too dull, in a thread that has nothing to do with that particular issue nonetheless. Congrats on becoming a Graphic Designer, that's all nice and everything, but that does not mean that everyone is going to appreciate you joining a site and commenting on their skins. As far as the skin goes if you want to make it and show it to her, that's fine. But bare in mind there is a chance she may decide not to use it. She isn't really good on using other peoples skins, she likes making her own. So if she doesn't use yours it's nothing personally...Or at least I hope it isn't. As far as the changing the default skin goes, regardless I think we would run into a similar problem of someone thinking that's the only skin. We can't change that. The only thing we can do is give them clear steps as to changing the skin if they choose to. And we're always willing to do that. Now if you really want to push the issue any further, you're more than welcome to PM me. Otherwise, I see no reason as to why we should have to continue this conversation openly in a thread.
