(I'm starving...mom just got here so I've got a while...)
The lights flickered and went out. Gracie yelped and gripped Chazz's hand hard.
"It's OK, Grace," he reassured her, "Power's just out. Come on, let's find the others."
"Yeah," Gracie said. After all, there wasn't much two teenagers could do alone in the dark without any adult supervision...

"Finally!" Kylie grinned as she pulled a flashlight out of a drawer. She turned it on and for a second the light flickered but finally stayed lit. "Thank you." she muttered to herself. Now she just had to find everyone else. Still holding the flashlight she left the room and wandered the halls hoping someone else was there and that she wasn't alone.

Cameron sighed as the lights went out. She sat up and felt around the room. Nothing was in front of her so she got up and eventually ran into something. She cursed under her breath only to find out it was Zane. "It's just the lights." he said. Cameron nodded even though she wasn't sure he could see.

Kylie stopped just outside the classroom. She aimed the flashlight so it was going down the hallway one way and when she didn't see anyone, she turned and did the same to the other hallway. "Please tell me I'm not the only one here." she said a loud hoping SOMEONE would hear her.

"Cameron?" Kylie asked. She sighed and moved the light out of the girls eyes. "Sorry..." she muttered as she walked passed the girl without say anything else. She could have swore she heard Gracie only a few minutes ago.

Cameron curse under her breath and took the flashlight from Kylie. "You're going the wrong way genius! She's that way!" Cameron said pointing the flashlight another way down the hall.
